Walking for long periods over uneven terrain is often challenging on your legs, especially if Only registered users can see links on this board! Personally I don't own a pair of LOWA boots but I know several people who do and just about all say the same thing - actually comfortable, have little to no breaking in period, and that they wouldn't wear some other military boots. The LOWA Combat boot can be a hi-leg boot which indicates the height is noticeably higher when compared to other boots. Although the difference is a couple cm with the most, it does provide a good amount of extra support.

That's nothing compared to how they felt after some more times of using them and breaking them in properly - very different to when I got my first couple of issue boots, which took a fair number of wearing in before many people felt comfortable.

I've tested these across all seasons, with sunny heats, hiking over snowy covered moors and every one of the various types in in between.
